Recently, the provincial department of education office ( (2015) no. 3) released the result of inspection acceptance of universities’ key research bases of philosophy and social sciences in Jiangsu. The only key research base of provincial philosophy and social sciences in our school, "Jiangsu rural financial development research center”, was evaluated as outstanding in provincial level through the inspection acceptance.

According to the purpose of the provincial education department’s management methods of universities’ philosophy and social sciences key research bases in Jiangsu and inspection notice of universities’ philosophy and social science key research bases construction in the entire province ((2014) no.4), Finance College and Jiangsu rural financial development research center carried out inspection preparation actively with the cooperation of school humanities and social science institution and collected materials carefully to write the inspection report. We won high appraisal of all parties.

The current director of Jiangsu rural financial development research center professor Dong Xiaolin introduced that the center relied on key subjects such as "applied economics", "agricultural economic management" and aimed to bring professional superiority, further study rural financial development theory, constantly improve the construction of national rural financial markets, establish a modern rural financial system, improve the rural financial service level, provide policy advice and decision-making consultation as well as develop rural financial applied talents. We made unremitting efforts to become well-known rural financial research platform and talents training base at home and abroad.
